Aveti Push & Feed Pipeline Architecture

How teacher-service and the Android app coordinate tokens, topics, and notifications

1. FCM Topic Subscription

On app start, FCMTopicManager.java subscribes the device to announcements. On login, it subscribes to user_{phone} and enrolled courses (bse_odisha_class_10).

2. Device Token Sync

UpdateFCMToken.java syncs the device registration token to PUT /service/auth/api/v1/student/update-fcm-token whenever FCM refreshes.

3. Broadcast Dispatch

teacher-service dispatches via Firebase Admin SDK to structured topics. When a feed has send_notifications, it triggers push notifications automatically!
